I’m a Math and Physics tutor with an Honours degree in Astrophysics from the University of Waterloo with experience in teaching and supporting students at University and High School level. I’ve worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and as a Research Assistant, where helping students understand challenging material was a regular part of my work. I tutor Grade 12 Math and Physics, as well as first- and second-year University courses including Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Physics. My focus is on building understanding and confidence and not just memorizing formulas. I help students see how concepts connect and how to approach problems logically. My tutoring style is patient and flexible. I adapt explanations to how each student learns and focus on strengthening fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and exam readiness. Whether a student is struggling or aiming to do well in advanced courses, I tailor sessions to their needs. I’m happy to work with both High School and University students, in ongoing sessions or for exam prep.

I’m a physicist and researcher with a background in Quantum Science, Mathematical Modelling, and Complex Systems. I completed an Honours degree in Astrophysics at the University of Waterloo and have worked with research institutions such as the Institute for Quantum Computing and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. My research focuses on understanding how quantum systems behave under real-world limitations like noise, imperfect control, and environmental interference. In simple terms, I work on figuring out how close today’s quantum machines are to being reliable and scalable, and what fundamentally limits their performance. By studying entanglement and system dynamics, I help identify how errors arise and how future quantum technologies can be made more robust. This work helps answer a key question in quantum computing: how close are we to building machines that can work consistently and at scale? My work sits at the intersection of theory, computation, and experimental data. I use mathematical models and statistical simulations to translate abstract quantum ideas into practical insights, with applications in areas such as quantum error correction, benchmarking, and algorithm design. Alongside my research, I have experience teaching and tutoring Mathematics and Physics at both High School and University levels. I’ve worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and enjoy helping students build intuition, confidence, and a deeper understanding of complex concepts. I’m motivated by making difficult ideas accessible; whether that’s advancing quantum research or helping students succeed academically.
