I have extensive experience teaching mathematics and statistics at the university level, as well as providing mathematics and statistics tutoring. My teaching experience includes Calculus (differential and integral calculus, limits, derivatives, applications of derivatives, integration techniques, and applications of integration); Linear Algebra (matrices, systems of linear equations, determinants, vectors, and linear transformations); Statistics and Probability (descriptive statistics, probability rules, probability distributions, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation, and regression analysis); Algebra and Trigonometry (algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, functions, and trigonometric functions); and Differential Equations (ordinary differential equations and their applications). I have taught courses including Calculus, Linear Algebra, Mathematics, and Statistics at Memorial University’s Grenfell Campus. I also have experience using R, Python, Minitab, and Excel for statistical analysis, data visualization, and mathematical computation. My teaching approach emphasizes clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, practical examples, and helping students develop confidence and independent thinking in mathematics.

I hold a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Regina, where I studied from 2013 to 2016. I have been teaching at Memorial University’s Grenfell Campus in Newfoundland and Labrador since 2016, with extensive experience teaching university-level mathematics and statistics.

My teaching experience includes Calculus, Linear Algebra, Algebra, Trigonometry, Differential Equations, Probability, and Statistics for Business, Arts, and Science students.

I specialize in making challenging mathematical concepts easier to understand through clear explanations, step-by-step solutions, and practical examples. I help students strengthen their foundational skills, prepare for exams, improve their problem-solving abilities, and develop confidence in their studies.

In addition to mathematics, I have a strong background in applied mathematics, mathematical modeling, operations research, and linear programming. I also use Python, R, and Minitab for programming, statistical analysis, and data-related problems.

Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, completing practice problems, preparing for an exam, or improving your overall performance, I aim to provide supportive, structured, and personalized instruction tailored to your learning needs.
